Porto is an amazing city and well worth a couple of days of exploration. I would recommend arriving a couple of days early and exploring this historical city. Here is a link from the Lonely Planet that will whet your appetite to spend a few extra days here: https://www.lonelyplanet.com/portugal/the-north/porto
Meet in Porto to prepare for walking the next day. Buy last minute supplies, do laundry, and meet everyone in a wonderful Welcome dinner.
Whether you continue walking with us to Finisterre on Sunday or not, you should allow yourself a day to explore this magnificent city and do the cathedral rooftop tour.
